Terms and Conditions of Use & Booking

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the T2 Lagos platform and the booking of our Alojamento Local (AL) property in Portugal. By accessing our platform or making a booking, you agree to be bound by these terms.

1. Booking and Payments

All bookings made through our platform are subject to availability and confirmation. To secure a booking, valid payment information must be provided. We use a certified payment processor (Stripe) to securely process your transaction. A security deposit may be placed as a hold on your card prior to arrival, which will be released upon a satisfactory checkout inspection.

2. Mandatory Identity Verification (KYC)

Crucial Requirement: Under Portuguese Law, we are strictly required to report all foreign guests to the immigration authorities (AIMA). Therefore, a booking is only considered Fully Confirmed once the primary guest successfully completes our Identity Verification (KYC) process.

You will be provided with a secure link to upload your government-issued ID and perform a biometric facial scan. Failure to complete this process within the stipulated time frame, or providing fraudulent documentation, will result in immediate cancellation of your booking without refund, and potential notification to the authorities.

3. House Rules and Property Care

Our properties are premium residential spaces located in Lagos, Algarve. Guests are expected to treat the property with respect. Parties, excessive noise, and unregistered overnight guests are strictly prohibited. The specific House Rules for each property will be provided upon booking confirmation. Violation of these rules may result in immediate eviction and forfeiture of the security deposit.

4. Check-in and Check-out

Access instructions (e.g., smart lock codes) will be automatically generated and sent to you only after successful payment and KYC verification. Check-in and check-out times must be strictly adhered to so our professional cleaning staff can prepare the property for the next guest.

5. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation policies vary depending on the rate selected at the time of booking. Please refer to your booking confirmation for specific details regarding refund eligibility.
